About This Game

Connect history. Build the perfect hand.

Chronicle Hands is a single-player roguelite deckbuilding game about finding connections between historical figures. Combine nationality, era, field, and other traits to outscore each opponent with limited hands and discards.

Every combination is a strategy

  • Play up to three cards at first—or as many as five with special effects—and chain their connections
  • Recruit, enhance, and remove people in the shop to shape your deck
  • Adapt to historical bosses with unique rules
  • Build a different strategy each run with Legacies and Event Cards
  • Take on 20 difficulty levels, complete the Person Codex, track statistics, and unlock Steam achievements

Available in Japanese, English, and Simplified Chinese. There is no spoken dialogue. Mouse, keyboard, and gamepad navigation are supported.

All 100 historical-figure portrait illustrations included in the game were created using ChatGPT image generation. They are bundled as static game assets. No content is generated during play, and no player data is sent to OpenAI or another AI provider.
