For everyone who once dreamed of driving beyond the wasteland

MARS3077 is a pixel-art action RPG conceived as an independent spiritual successor to Metal Max on the Famicom. It carries forward the joy of setting your own course, improving a machine you grow attached to, and discovering the stories beyond the next settlement—now on the red sands of Mars, with real-time combat and a transforming ferry-mech.

You are pilot 404: Not Found. Utopia-2 is your home, and Old Days, a walking ferry-mech, is your companion. Leave the dome, follow the echoes, and piece together a mystery scattered across unfamiliar worlds.

One pilot. One ferry. Your way across the stars.

Explore on foot or climb into Old Days. Travel the surface as a mech, take to the air with a lift adapter, and cross wormholes in starship form. When your machine cannot go any farther, climb out and continue as 404.

Build a machine that changes how you fight

Choose frames, reactors, main weapons, control cores and special equipment. Trade weight and power against the capabilities you need. Try a beam cannon, sonic attacks or support drones; combine equipment and skills to find your own fighting style. Develop both pilot and mech, with separate skill bars and gene upgrades for the pilot.

Follow the road, then leave it

Climb survey towers, reveal unexplored terrain and salvage wrecks on Mars. Venture to nine additional worlds: a glowing rainforest, ocean outposts, crystalline landscapes and more. Look for supplies and equipment, take on local events, and face bosses with their own attack patterns. Return to the settlement to repair, refit and prepare for the next trip.

Make room for a detour

Twenty playable cartridges bring smaller games into the adventure: cast a line, race across a circuit, issue orders in relay tactics, or try farming, diving and shooting challenges. Pick a different pace between expeditions.

A retro world with its own identity

A 480×270 pixel-art world and 59 synthesized chiptune pieces, including background music and short event cues, accompany the journey. Designed for single-player play with keyboard and mouse.
