One small berth. A crane. Room for an idea to grow. Portscape is a port-building and management game where you turn a modest waterfront into a bustling harbour, one container at a time. Design the bigger picture, then get down to the dock and do the work yourself.

Build your own working waterfront

Lay roads and railways, plan quays and container yards, and find room for your next expansion. Add parking, workshops, buildings and lighting to make a port that feels like yours. Start with a small fleet, then invest in bigger cranes, taller stacks and berths for larger ships.

Manage it. Or take the controls.

Watch your workers handle the next job, or step in yourself. Lift a container from a ship, line it up over a waiting tractor, and set it down. Operate quay cranes, rail cranes, yard gantries and reach stackers, or drive a tractor through the port you built.

By ship. By truck. By train.

Every container has somewhere to go. Bring imports ashore, send exports on their way and transfer cargo between ships. Connect the quay, yard, gate and rail terminal so each handoff fits into the next. A well-planned route makes another busy day that little bit smoother.

Turn a busy day into your next expansion

Choose contracts, buy equipment, hire workers and look after your fleet. Track money, cargo moves and yard space with visual reports, then set automation policies to guide the work. Decide whether the next investment should be another tractor, a bigger yard or a whole new stretch of waterfront.

Find your favourite harbour

Build beside green countryside, tropical beaches or snowy mountains. Add the finishing touches and watch the lights come on as day turns to night. Between the cranes, passing trains, waves and birds, there is always another little detail to enjoy.
