Co-op salvage raids for one to four pilots, on one couch or online. Beams link your ships and shred anything they sweep: spread out and swing the web. Crossfire, dodge, revive your crew from escape pods, and build a salvaged ship that breaks the rules, three sectors and three guardians deep.

About This Game

Fly together. Cut everything between you.

Void Runners is a twin-stick roguelike built for the couch. One to four pilots fly as one crew, sharing a screen or playing online, and every pair of ships is joined by a beam that shreds whatever it sweeps. Where you fly relative to your crew is the core decision: spread out to cover the field, swing the web through a swarm, or pull in tight to crossfire an elite.

A salvage raid in three sectors

Each run crosses three sectors of four jumps, and each sector ends at a guardian. Vote on the route as a crew: break wrecks for scrap, hunt marked elites for rare and epic parts, answer a distress call, tow a cargo barge home on your beams, or dock at a depot and spend your scrap on as many parts as it buys. Each sector fights you with its own field, from drifting rock to ion storms that cut the web to gravity wells. Then face the Hive Carrier, Severance and the Leviathan.

Builds that break the rules

Between jumps the crew shares one refit table. Everyone takes a part free, and the crew can buy one more with shared scrap. A depot sells as many as you can afford. Most of the 59 parts are triggers with effects, not bigger numbers: dash to drop mines, drag linked crewmates out of danger, patch up whoever on the web is hurt worst. Pair the right two and they fuse into a synergy.

No one gets left behind

Take one hit too many and you eject in an escape pod. Your crew flies over you to bring you back. A friend can drop in mid-fight with a pad, and a solo pilot flies with a wingman drone that keeps the beam swinging and guards your first pod of each fight.

On one couch or many

Mix a couch and friends online in one crew of up to four: two on the sofa and two at home, or everyone on their own machine. Invite friends from the hangar, or join a crew from your Steam friends list. If a friend's connection drops, the autopilot flies their ship until they rejoin. Friends who do not own the game can still come along through Remote Play Together.
