About This Game

A turn-based western roguelite where your revolver is a slot machine.
Robots march down the slope toward your armoured wagon. Load the cylinder one round at a time, pick a lane and pull the trigger. Every kill drops brass into the payout tray, and every stop ends at THE COUNT.

Drop one round on another and they fuse.
Each gun starts with four basic rounds. Two tier-2 rounds make one of eleven jackpot rounds, and two jackpots press into an Ultra.

  • Singularity pulls the crowd together and crushes it
  • Wildfire jumps from kill to kill
  • Triple Seven sweeps the board with gold paylines
  • Bullet Time slows the world down around one slug

Bank the take, or spin again.
At the end of every stop THE COUNT spins your take against a multiplier. Let it ride and the next spin pays more, with a bigger chance to bust. There are side bets at the casino stops, dice at Hold or Roll, and Vinny sells rounds in the middle of a fight. Every bet is in-game cash.

Bolt it on at the gunsmith.
Every part changes what one pull of the trigger does, and the same part works differently depending on where you mount it.

  • Side barrels fire into the neighbouring lanes, up to seven in one pull
  • Scopes and chokes for crits and spread
  • Tesla coils that arc from robot to robot
  • Magnum cylinders for harder hits that pierce one more

The fight waits for you.
Robots only move when you end your turn. Press F, step off the wagon and walk the battlefield. Read the robots up close, sip your whiskey, and blow cigar smoke in a Slot Jockey's face. It can't do a thing about it.

Every line runs to The House.
Pick your line at every junction and fight through ambushes, casinos and bosses. Beat the Iron Dealer and the Windmill Watcher, then take a zeppelin up to the Gilded Heights for Madam Ironheart. At the end of the line waits The House, a casino carved into a mountain. Beat it and the endless line opens.

  • Two guns, each with its own rounds, fusions and parts
  • 11 jackpot rounds and 66 Ultras, each with its own effect
  • Slot-machine scoring with multipliers, bonuses and LET IT RIDE
  • Branching rail routes, a sky stage and a casino finale
  • Eight Table Stakes to raise the difficulty
  • Deeds, trophies and boss Masterworks that carry across runs
  • A whiskey, a cigar and Vinny, who has opinions about both

ShotMachine is a video game. There is no real-money gambling and nothing to buy inside the game. The whiskey isn't real either.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

ShotMachine uses generative AI for pre-made content that ships with the game:

- Sound effects, music and character voices were generated with ElevenLabs.
- Many 3D enemy and prop models were generated with Meshy, then rigged, textured and assembled for the game.
- Some textures, map icons and background panoramas were created with an AI image generator.
- Parts of the dialogue and in-game text were written with the help of an AI assistant.

All of this content was made during development. The game does not generate AI content while you play and does not connect to any AI service.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

Stylized violence against robots and animated objects (black oil, sparks, shot-off limbs). Simulated casino gambling with in-game currency only (slots, roulette, blackjack, dice); no real money is involved. The player character drinks whiskey and smokes cigars. One optional game-over scene shows the player turning the gun on themselves (cartoon presentation, no blood). Strong language, including the F-word, in a secret final boss fight.
