Every character has a signature skill

Before each clash, you choose one of four orders: charge, defend, fight as usual, or demand surrender.
Every general has a skill of their own, and one well-timed move can turn the battle.
What you take, you must hold. Your enemies will come back for it.

Courting them is how you keep them

7 rivals seek out the princesses whose hearts are not yet settled.
Leave one to herself and a rival wins her over, and she leaves of her own accord.
This is avoidable. Enter certain routes and the rivals stop moving; deepen a bond and she is never targeted.
