Why Early Access?

“We are launching Your Ancestor Stories in Early Access so players can experience the core life-sim, survival, farming, crafting, hunting, fishing, livestock, exploration, and story systems while development continues. Community feedback will help us improve balance, pacing, usability, performance, and overall game feel as we expand and polish the experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect the game to remain in Early Access for around 12 to 24 months, depending on development progress, testing needs, and community feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan for the full version to include more story content, regions, tribe-related content, events, festivals, items, crafting options, wildlife, polish, balancing, and quality-of-life improvements. We also plan to continue improving performance, UI, save/load stability, and the overall flow of the game based on player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes the core gameplay foundation: farming, fishing, hunting, crafting, gathering, livestock care, exploration, festivals, tournaments, NPC routines, and survival elements. Some systems, content, balancing, UI polish, and late-game features are still in development and may change during Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We may adjust the price as the game grows with more content, features, polish, and overall scope. Any pricing changes will reflect the state of the game and the amount of content available at that time.”

“We plan to listen to player feedback through Steam discussions, reviews, bug reports, and community channels. Feedback will help us prioritize bug fixes, balancing, quality-of-life improvements, performance optimization, and future content direction during Early Access.”

About This Game

Long before kingdoms and cities existed, people survived through courage, community, and the land itself. Step into the world of Bara, a young member of the Gaba Tribe, and experience life on a prehistoric island filled with wildlife, traditions, and untold stories.

Farm, fish, hunt, craft, raise livestock, explore new lands, meet distant tribes, and uncover the secrets hidden throughout the island.
