About This Game

In DECISIVE DECKS, command a World War II fleet through deckbuilding and turn-based naval battles. Choose the United States, Japan, Britain, or Germany, put each nation’s strengths to work, and chart a campaign route across the world’s seas.

Every card is an order. Fire a broadside, launch an air strike, spring a torpedo ambush, or cover your fleet at a critical moment. Read enemy intentions, allocate Command Points, and decide when to strike and when to hold cards for the next turn.

• Shape a strategy around four nations. Explore distinct national mechanics and cards to build a style of your own.

• Build your deck as the campaign unfolds. Gain new orders, upgrade key cards, and replace basic ones. Each choice changes what your fleet can do.

• Chart your route and manage supplies. Travel between real historical locations, choose your encounters, and weigh supplies, shop repairs, and chances to improve your deck.

• Make research count throughout a campaign. Acquire research effects that last for the current run and combine them with your cards to open new tactics.

• Adapt to changing battles. From open-ocean engagements to coastal bombardments, respond to day and night, enemy fleets, and shore defenses.

• Watch your orders take shape at sea. Gunfire, torpedoes, and aircraft bring card effects to life, while your deck influences the ships that appear in battle.

• Earn Merit and expand your collection. Campaign results award Merit, with an extra bonus for victory. Spend it to unlock ships and aircraft in the Naval Encyclopedia, including wartime service models, prototypes, and unfinished historical designs. You can also equip unlocked appearances.
