About This Content

LASER SNEKS

Eat. Grow. Outmanoeuvre. Survive.

Laser Sneks takes the simple rules of classic Snake and throws them into a glowing neon arena where every turn can be your last.

Grab food. Get longer. Box in your opponents. Slip through shrinking gaps. Bait another snek into making one very bad turn.

Then try not to crash.

CLASSIC SNAKE. NOW WITH ENEMIES.

The rules are simple.

Eat food and your snek grows. Hit a wall, hit yourself, or hit another snek and you're out.

The last snek slithering wins.

What starts as an open arena quickly becomes a tangled maze of glowing bodies. Every piece of food makes you stronger — and makes the arena that little bit harder to survive.

LOCAL MULTIPLAYER MAYHEM

Bring controllers and pile into the same arena for local free-for-all matches.

Laser Sneks supports keyboard and controllers together, or an all-controller setup, with each player controlling their own brightly coloured snek.

Add AI opponents to fill out the arena, mix humans and bots however you like, or jump into solo practice and see how long you can survive.

There are no teams.

There is nowhere to hide.

There can only be one surviving snek.

SNEK AI THAT ACTUALLY WANTS TO WIN

The AI doesn't just wander towards the nearest piece of food.

Computer-controlled sneks hunt for food, navigate around dangerous territory, anticipate where opponents are heading, contest space, identify choke points and look for opportunities to restrict your escape routes.

They can pressure you.

They can intercept you.

They can even feint towards you before changing course.

But they don't cheat. AI opponents have deliberately limited reaction times and commit to their decisions for short periods, giving human players opportunities to juke, bait and outplay them.

And because every AI snek has slightly different levels of greed, aggression and cunning, a crowded arena can become wonderfully unpredictable.

THINK THREE TURNS AHEAD

Laser Sneks is grid-based, but your fingers don't have to wait for the grid.

Rapid input buffering lets you queue up to three legal turns ahead of your snek. Hammer out a tight sequence and your commands will execute across the following tiles in order.

Thread a narrow route.

Snap around a corner.

Escape a trap.

Or confidently queue three moves directly into your own tail.

Your call.

NEON ARCADE CHAOS

Laser Sneks wraps its deliberately simple rules in a responsive arcade presentation inspired by glowing light-cycle arenas.

Food pulses and erupts into sparks when collected. Sneks flare as they grow. Collisions explode into fragments and impact rings. The arena shakes, flashes and reacts as the match becomes increasingly chaotic.

Every pickup feels good.

Every crash feels terrible.

Exactly as it should.
