About This Game

Your inheritance has a staffing problem. They're all dead.

You can communicate with ghosts—and put their talents to work. Your visitors can see them too, and an unexpected encounter can send paying customers running. The trick is keeping your guests convinced it's all part of the show.

In My Staff Are Dead! Paranormal Tycoon, inherit a sprawling estate with bills to pay and turn the afterlife into a very unusual enterprise. Build businesses, develop a ghostly workforce and create experiences your paying guests will insist are just clever special effects. This is a singleplayer management sim about making a living with the dead.

From quiet cemetery to bustling estate

Start with burials, discover the spirits they leave behind and plan an estate that earns its keep. Lay paths, place buildings and expand into ghost photography, séances, haunted houses, ghost tours and more. A profitable cemetery can also frighten nearby customers: where you build matters as much as what you build.

Hire the person, not just the poltergeist

Your ghosts are named individuals, not interchangeable job slots. Train their skills, match them to the right work and manage their Spirit Energy. Assignments can change as your business grows, but every promising employee needs time and care. Even the dead cannot work forever.

Put on a show. Keep the secret.

Give visitors something worth talking about without proving the paranormal is real. Public reputation and supernatural suspicion are separate pressures. More attention can bring opportunity, but it can also attract investigators asking awkward questions. Behind the theatrical scares, you still have an estate to run.

There's more to an afterlife than overtime

Discover unfinished business and help spirits find closure. Choosing to let a valued ghost move on means losing an employee, but their Legacy can help those who remain. Build a successful business without forgetting the people behind it.

Make the next year your best yet

Balance expansion against upkeep, annual estate taxes and yearly challenges. Keep a successful estate running beyond Year 10 and chase a higher year-end cash record. Your score is the money in the bank at each year's close, not lifetime revenue. There is no fixed final year—but keeping the estate afloat is your responsibility.

The customers want a good scare. Your accountant has already had one.
