Entity Unknown is a cooperative supernatural investigation and survival-
horror game for 1–4 players.

Enter haunted houses, gather reliable evidence, test the entity’s behavior,
and decide how long you can afford to stay. Every investigation asks the
same dangerous question: leave with what you know, or risk everything for
more?

Investigate together

Bring your friends into a Steam party and search each case as a team. Split
up to cover more ground, stay together for safety, or use sound and movement
to lure out activity. When someone is downed, the rest of the team must
decide whether to rescue them or get out.

Read the evidence

Use investigative tools to detect supernatural activity and record your
observations in the journal. Evidence is consistent, but silence is never
proof of safety. Compare clues, test competing theories, and identify the
entity before the house turns against you.

Every entity behaves differently

The entity is controlled locally by the game and reacts within the rules of
the investigation. It can roam, create disturbances, investigate noise,
pursue exposed players, and begin a hunt when the danger rises. Learn what
you are facing by watching what it does—not by waiting for a scripted
answer.

Choose your risk

Carry investigative tools, protective items, and limited supplies into each
case. Manage your equipment, keep an eye on your team, and decide when to
retreat. You can leave without solving the case, but anyone left behind may
pay the price.

Survive the hunt

When the hunt begins, lights, hiding places, sound, and distance all matter.
Break line of sight, stay quiet, and help your teammates when you can. The
safest plan is rarely the most complete one.

Explore changing cases

Investigate small, medium, and large house layouts assembled from authored
spaces and furnishings. Each case gives your team a new place to search, new
routes to learn, and new opportunities for the entity to find you.
