About This Game

Blobstacle is a bouncy puzzle platformer. Grow to jump and bounce, shrink to slip through gaps. Retry levels, grab stars, and beat your best time.. You are a blob of slime in a vast cave full of bad ideas. One button makes you grow. Hold it and you balloon. Let go and you shrink back down, small enough to slip a crack or duck something that would rather flatten you.

Each level is a short obstacle course. The exit is usually in sight, sitting there all smug. You roll in, try something foolish, and sometimes the foolish thing works.

Miss it and you pop. Then you are back at the start, slightly damp, ready to try the same bad idea again.

How you play

• Grow and shrink. Hold the button and you balloon. Let go and you shrink. Jump big. Squeeze small. Panic as needed.

• Nose around. Short courses, one new headache at a time. You learn the cave by popping in it.

• Grab the stars. Optional. Slightly out of the way. Extremely your problem.

• Beat your own run. Every level keeps a best time and a high score. Go on, show off.

• Earn the splat. Steam achievements for first clears, fast times, stars, and a healthy number of deaths.

A short hop, then another

Levels last about as long as a bad decision. Keyboard or gamepad, both fine. Clear the course, then go back for the stars.
