About This Game

The room is buried in socks.

Piles of them. Over 3,000 pairs in every colour and pattern you can think of, and 64 empty cabinets waiting along the walls. Pick them up, work out where each pair belongs, and hang it on its rod. That's the whole idea, and it's surprisingly hard to stop.

Colour, pattern and price

Every pair comes on a little cardboard band with its price printed on it. Each colour and each pattern has its own cabinets, one per price: the $1 pairs go at the bottom, the $2 pairs above them, and some patterns have a $3 shelf on top. Pairs hang on the rods from the back to the front, ten to a rod, five rods to a cabinet.

No hints, just a feeling

Nothing tells you if a pair is right before you hang it. You find out afterwards: a soft green glow when it belongs there, a red blush when it doesn't. Mistakes are never final. Take the pair back and try again.

The good part

Finish a rod and its pairs hop one after another and fill up with green. Finish a whole cabinet and it lights up in rising glitter. Somewhere in the piles are 12 legendary designs on gold hooks, each with its own place on the three legendary shelves.

A knitted skill tree

Every pair you hang in the right place earns XP. Level up, collect skill points and spend them on 15 skills across five branches: Hands, Sorting, Eyes, Speed and Rewards. Carry bigger armfuls, see matching pairs light up across the floor, read prices at a glance, and chain correct pairs into combos for bonus XP.

At your own pace

No timer, no score to beat, no way to lose. Everything moves softly, dust drifts through the air, and a draught now and then sets a hanging pair swaying. Sort for five minutes or five hours. The game saves as you go.
