Why Early Access?

“We feel the game will be in early access for approximately 4-6 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of the game is planned to have:
  • 7 Complete dungeon levels
  • 7 Epic Boss fights
  • 100 Blessings (power ups) for the player to combine and stack
  • The Daily Dungeon, a seeded game dungeon that is the same world wide for 24 hours for speed running
  • Multiple multiplayer modes including Team Death-match and Free for All.
  • 35 Unique enemies with unique behaviours

News from Krafted!

Hello Polygod Community!

We at Krafted Games wanted to give an update on where we disappeared to for the last few months. Fear not! We have not forgotten about you.

Over the last few months we have had our heads down working on getting Polygod ready for the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. This unfortunately led to our wonderful Steam build getting neglected. However, this does not mean that Polygod development has been standing still.

The game has been continuously worked on in the interim with our team trying our utmost to get this game as balanced and polished as possible. Updates will be coming soon so we ask for a bit more patience.

Within the next couple of weeks we will be announcing a release date which we are extremely excited about seeing as it has been a 2 and a half year journey.

Saved seeds + Bug Fixes!

Hey everyone!

Today's update is a rather small one with just a few fixes and one new feature: a seed-saving system. You can now save seeds that you like through the pause menu in-game, and the death screen. Your saved seeds are accessible in the Saved Seeds menu which is in the New Game menu.

We hope you find this addition useful. As always, any and all feedback is welcome!

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed a bug where Second Self would not respawn you at the start of the dungeon in some levels.
  • Fixed a bug where you could not walk under the gun parts at the altars in level 5.
  • Fixed a bug where the level 7 floors were red and white instead of black and white.
  • Fixed a bug where having Indomitable Will and Trigger Happy would double the rate of fire increase when Trigger Happy was active.
  • Fixed a bug in the acquire blessing randomness system.

Added Content
  • Added the gun parts to the boss altars.
  • Added a Saved Seeds menu in the New Game menu. You can now save your favourite seeds for later use.
  • Changed the altars in Level 7.

Description
Polygod is a rogue-like, randomly generated, single & multiplayer FPS with a brutal difficulty curve!

Blending a fast-paced, Quake-esque feel with the randomness, difficulty and power-up system of The Binding of Isaac, Polygod is a hardcore gamer and speedrunner's dream. Only the most skilled and strategic players will defeat the Trial of the Gods.

You are a Faceless One: a one-armed, gun-wielding assassin of legend. The seven deities of Polygod will test your skill with randomly generated arenas of hostile minions, followed by a boss fight against a ruthless Holy Champion.

Each of the arenas features five Altars of Worship, offering you Blessings in exchange for Souls you have collected along your journey. Blessings combine and stack to create unique gun effects, but each has consequences, so choose wisely if you wish to survive each wicked challenge. And don’t forget, death is permanent in this purgatory of the gods!

The art style is inspired by the meta-physical surrealist artist Giorgio de Chirico who is famously revered for his eerie mood and strange artificiality of cityscapes.

  • A UNIQUE, RANDOMLY GENERATED EXPERIENCE EVERY TIME. Randomise the levels, blessings offered and enemy placement with our seed system, or challenge others on specific seeds! Polygod offers full leaderboard support using a universal daily seed.

  • GUN CUSTOMISATION WITH 100 UNIQUE BLESSINGS. Each seed will offer you a different selection of blessings as you progress through the levels. Strategically combine and stack them to fit your personal playstyle. Ever wondered what it would be like if your bullets were bubbles? Well, what if they were bubbles AND proximity mines? And you shot 3 of them at once? AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT? The options are endless! Do you choose a lethal sniper build, or a bullet wall of death? How will you survive: lifesteal, jump-strafe dodging, tank-like health? How do you want to navigate the environment: double jump, helicopter boots, teleportation?
