About This Game

Silt Out is an immersive psychological horror game where the player navigates sprawling, claustrophobic cave systems to uncover deep-hidden secrets.

As a certified cave diver, you are equipped with state of the art navigation systems and devices that help you record your own thoughts and log any useful information you could come by. You will need to manage resources, track paths and depth, map out points of interest and collect bits of information that will lead your closer to unraveling the mystery lying at the end of it all.

At the beginning of this journey, you are called on a body rescue mission to recover a recently drowned local. With an excess of equipment and experience, you are certain it will be a quick trip. However, not everything is as it seems as you realize there may be more than just a body hidden in the dark abyss.

Silt Out uses physics for animations and movement and tries to induce a claustrophobic experience as close to one you might experience in real life as possible. The goal of the game is to fully immerse the player in the dark underwater ambience with sounds recorded by a real cave diver and a fully hand crafted cave system.
