MONSTERLAY is an adult dark fantasy visual novel for Windows. Battle through short attack and defense minigames, and collect the illustrated scenes you unlock during encounters to revisit in the gallery whenever you like.

Enter the Monster Repository

Leaving your physical body behind, you transfer your consciousness into cyberspace and arrive at the Monster Repository, a place where beings from countless worlds gather. Choose an unfamiliar region and follow the signals on your presence detector. You won't know who is waiting at the next signal until you meet them.

From goblins and demons to cyborgs and strange otherworldly beings, each encounter brings a different appearance and personality. Discover each character's voice, attitude, and reactions through dialogue and illustrations. Your choices reveal the stories behind their unsettling first impressions.

Fight for victory, or follow your curiosity

There is more to an encounter than reading. Attack and fight for victory, flee when the danger becomes too great, or choose Beg to discover a different side of your opponent. Short challenges involving timing, aiming, memory, and evasion determine the effectiveness of your attacks and defenses. Begging also costs health, so you must decide whether to pursue victory or follow your curiosity.

Build your collection and revisit each encounter

Scene cards earned during encounters build a collection in each character's gallery. Revisit stories you own, or meet a chosen character again in Free Mode and continue your collection. Adjust the reading speed and the way images and dialogue are displayed, and unlock the BeatFap image-viewing mode as you progress.
