Crash-land on an alien planet where every 10 cm cell is simulated: heat, gases, fluids, fire, radiation. Survive, automate mines and factories, split the atom, build a rocket and return to the stars. 2D pixel-art factory survival, solo or online co-op.

Coming Soon To Early Access

The developers of this game intend to release as a work in progress, developing with the feedback of players.

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The simulation core, factory systems, 12 planet types, ship building and the main story are playable today. We want a cycle of updates driven by player feedback on balance, midgame pacing and co-op before we call it 1.0. Simulation-heavy games live and die by the edge cases players find, and Early Access is the honest way to find them together.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Approximately 12 months. We would rather extend this than ship an unfinished 1.0.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add more machines and logistics (vertical belts, advanced signal blocks), more story chapters, more biome events, additional planets and post-rocket endgame content. We also plan more polish: balance passes, performance work and quality-of-life improvements based on community feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Fully playable from crash landing to building a rocket and interplanetary travel. The cell simulation (heat, gases, fluids, fire, radiation), factory automation, research tree, ship building, story cutscenes, single-player and online co-op are all in and working. Available in English and Polish. Expect some rough edges and balance changes between updates.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to moderately raise the price at 1.0. Early Access players pay less for getting in early and helping us shape the game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Steam discussions and our forum at reascend.space are read daily. We publish patch notes for every update and keep a public roadmap. Bug reports with logs get priority; balance and quality-of-life ideas from players regularly make it into updates.”

About This Game

The mining freighter ISV "Kassandra" exploded 0.4 AU from the nearest Earth-like body. One escape pod made it out. Yours. Six hours of oxygen, a hand drill, and KORA, a ship AI with dry procedures and a growing conscience, in your ear.

Survive. Build industry. Get back to the stars.

A living, destructible world

  • Temperature, pressure, gases, fluids, fire and radiation are simulated for every 10 cm cell of the planet.
  • Smelting ore produces real CO₂ that fills your base. Rain soaks into soil. A reactor leak really contaminates groundwater.
  • Forest fires spread with the wind. Meteors, quakes, storms and eclipses test your base, the planet fights back.

  • Belts, sorters, splitters, pipes, pumps, cables and a signal network with sensors and logic gates.
  • Full production chains: ore → concentrate → metal → components → machines → rockets.
  • Chemical industry, power grids, nuclear reactors, and the waste heat, exhaust and radiation they really emit into the simulation.

  • Construct block ships, fuel them with hydrogen from your own electrolysis plant.
  • Travel a star system of 12 planet types: terran forests, methane lakes, volcanic wastes, frozen and irradiated worlds.
  • Each planet is a wrapped, fully destructible band of simulated matter.

The Kassandra didn't explode by accident. Find the wrecks scattered across the system, read the logs, and learn what you were really carrying in hold 7.

Play alone or host a world for friends, same simulation, shared factory.
