About This Game

Path & Match is a strategic puzzle game where you must guide your character to the exit on a board filled with colorful spheres.

By matching spheres, you earn points to gain moves for your character and create empty spaces your character can move through. These empty cells don't refill automatically: they remain available until the board regenerates, either between rounds or when you trigger a regeneration manually. Every decision you make affects your options for moving forward.

As you progress through the levels, you'll encounter obstacles, enemies, and new situations that challenge you to make the most of every move.

CREATE SPACE TO ADVANCE

Swap spheres to form groups of the same color and remove them. The spaces they leave behind don't refill automatically, allowing you to move your character through those empty cells.

Each match changes the available spaces on the board. Depending on which spheres you remove and how you move your character, you might get closer to the exit or end up blocking your own progress.

EARN MOVES

Your character starts each level with no moves. Matching spheres earns points that fill a progress bar. Each time the bar fills, you gain one move to advance your character across the board.

Having zero moves doesn't mean you've lost: you can keep matching spheres to earn more. However, certain hazards can take moves away, and if the damage causes your move count to drop below zero, you'll lose the level.

ADAPT TO EACH ROUND

Each level has a limited number of rounds, each with its own time limit. When a round ends, the board regenerates, empty spaces fill with new spheres, and your available options change.

In some levels, the time available decreases during the final rounds, adding more pressure as you approach the end.

You can continue using the current board layout until the round ends, or manually regenerate the board when you feel it's better to start with a new arrangement.

The timer doesn't start until you make your first match in each level, giving you time to study the board before you begin.

OVERCOME OBSTACLES AND HAZARDS

As you advance, you'll encounter obstacles with different durability and behaviors, traps, and enemies that can make moving around the board more difficult.

Some obstacles can be destroyed by matching nearby spheres, while others require different actions or trigger effects on the board when destroyed.

USE ITEMS TO YOUR ADVANTAGE

Throughout the levels, you can collect items with different functions, such as rearranging spheres on the board, gaining extra time, or removing obstacles.

You can decide when to use them and how to make the most of their effects depending on the situation.

PROGRESS AND FACE NEW CHALLENGES

As you progress, you'll encounter larger boards, new mechanics, and situations that increase the complexity of the levels.

You'll also face special challenges that change the usual rules and put everything you've learned to the test.

And remember: your worst enemy isn't always on the board. Sometimes, your own decisions are what keep you from reaching the exit.
