One scavenger. Six bullets. Not much of a plan.

Scavenger's March is a short semi-idle incremental that can sit anywhere on your screen when you don't play active thanks to fully dynamic menu scaling and rearrangement.
Progress is getting a little further into a radioactive wasteland. Your scavenger handles the walking, looting and most of the fighting. You handle the upgrades, decide what he's looking for, and occasionally save him from a particularly bad idea.

Your early runs will be short. Radiation keeps climbing, supplies run out, and the locals aren't pleased to see you.

Spend your earned XP on character upgrades, and credits on weapon, armor and item upgrades for the next run. Stay alive longer, move faster and make better use of what you find. Food, water and ammunition matter, so another damage upgrade won't solve every problem. Tougher enemies bring better rewards, if you can survive them.

Explore a procedurally generated wasteland of dirt tracks, ruined towns and scattered supplies. Places you've visited stay as you left them for the rest of that run.

Credits won't buy much out in the dirt. Your scavenger needs to reach a shop before he can collect new gear. Work through eight weapons, from a basic gun to burst-fire weapons, a grenade launcher and something considerably less subtle.

Hunt wild ModNoids for Mods that improve your scavenger. There's a catch: every wild ModNoid you kill makes their kind stronger. Buy a scanner frequency when you're ready to go looking for trouble.

Most combat takes care of itself, but you can help. Click an enemy for a guaranteed preemptive hit, or right-click to spend a smoke bomb and take it out of the fight. You only get ten bombs per run, and story defenders won't fall for that trick.

Shopkeepers know more than they're letting on. Follow their leads, tune into new frequencies and tackle defended outposts to find out what the raiders and ModNoids are up to. Your scavenger isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but he's the one with the gun.

The main story is built around roughly five hours of progression. After the ending, keep your progress and carry on in Endless Mode, or start fresh in Hardcore with a much weaker scavenger.
