About This Game

You arrive with a suitcase and a name nobody knows. Rent is due, the city does not wait, and the only way up is to write the songs, play the corners, take the jobs, and fill the rooms — until the streets say your name back.

Pop Star Life 2 is an open-world life simulation about building a music career from nothing. You live in a full city: walk it, drive it, work it, furnish a home, talk to anyone, and climb from busking on a pavement to packing a concert hall.

Make your star

Before you sing a note, decide who you are. Face, body, hair and a full wardrobe — then pick a hometown from 25 countries and 50 cities. The map stays the same; the world around you does not. Neighbourhoods, streets, parks and shop names follow the city you chose, so a career that starts in Istanbul does not read like one that starts in Paris or Tokyo.

One city, built to live in

Fifteen neighbourhoods, about 1.5 km across. Traffic, cyclists and citizens with somewhere to be. Bars, markets, studios, libraries, a hospital, a casino, an airport, a bus station — and doors that actually open.

You shop off the shelf, into a basket, and pay at the till. You eat from a belt hotbar. Hunger and energy matter. Talk to anyone on the street: what they say depends on your fame, your record and their mood.

When you fly to another city, what you carry comes with you. What you leave behind — the flat, the furniture, the car in the garage — stays where you put it.

Earn it first

Music does not pay on day one. Clock in at an employer’s board and work a real shift: hand out flyers, run deliveries on a company scooter, scan groceries at the till, tune instruments, tend bar, work the club door, drive a shuttle. Thirteen side jobs, each a short mini-game of its own, graded from S to D.

A few minutes on a corner or behind a counter is enough to afford a meal, a weapon, or a stack of casino chips. Nothing in this city is locked behind a rank or a story gate.

Write it. Track it. Mix it. Release it.

Sit at a library desk, a café table, or your own kitchen table and open a real songwriting session: genre, mood, title, lyrics. Then take it to the studio — tracking, the vocal booth, the mix desk — and put it out.

Busk on any corner and a crowd gathers around a guitar case. Stream on in-game platforms, climb the charts, shoot a music video on a real set in the city, post to social apps, and watch fame grow from zero toward a million. Rehearse a repertoire, play open mics, fill a room, then book the tour.

The city hears you. Radios play your tracks. People on the street put on headphones. Billboards track the charts. A career is not a menu: it is something that happens in the world.

A place of your own

Rent a flat, then furnish it. Build mode lets you place more than 1,600 pieces room by room — pick a piece, turn it, drop it; it finds the wall by itself. Sleep in the bed you bought. The day only moves when you rest.

Keep a pet. Hit the gym. Sit at a computer. Take a shower. Live in the rooms you paid for, not in a pause menu.

The city is yours

Drive with a real gearbox, ABS, handbrake, damage and fire. Ride a bike, a skateboard or a segway — and hit space to ollie. Hail a taxi, or take one of eight bus and minibus lines across more than a hundred stops.

Or ignore the law. Fists, bats and guns are in the world from the start. Witnesses call the police. A wanted level builds. An arrest costs you money and your weapons. Crime is never the smart play — it is a choice with a bill attached.

Spend what you earn at the casino: roulette, blackjack, baccarat, slots, video poker and a wheel of fortune, all in in-game currency. No real money. No microtransactions.

A full life, not a checklist

A phone. A skill book with 30 skills. A map of every place that matters. Quests that send you through the same streets you already live on. An economy with a bank, wages, rent, royalties and fines.

You can chase the charts and never throw a punch. You can work nights and never write a song. The systems are there whether you use them or not.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Some of the content in Pop Star Life 2 was created with the help of generative AI tools. Everything produced this way was reviewed and edited by the developer before it shipped.

This applies to parts of the game's written content — song lyrics, NPC dialogue and the English localisation — as well as some 2D art such as user interface icons and store graphics, and some audio material. The 3D models and the majority of the sound effects come from commercially licensed asset packs.

Nothing is generated while you play: the game creates no content at runtime and never connects to an AI service.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

Pop Star Life 2 is an open-world life simulation about building a music career.
Alongside that career, the city contains adult themes players may want to know
about in advance:

- Violence: the player can fight with fists, melee weapons or firearms against
adult NPCs. Hits can draw blood (stylised dark-red splashes and ground decals)
and NPCs can be killed and leave a body. There is no dismemberment, torture or
detailed gore.
- Crime and consequences: the player can commit crimes such as mugging, car theft
and killing. Crime is never rewarded: witnesses call the police, a wanted level
builds, and an arrest brings fines and confiscated weapons.
- Alcohol and tobacco: bars and shops sell alcoholic drinks; drinking visibly
intoxicates the character and worsens their aim. NPCs smoke on the street.
- Illegal drugs: referred to in street dialogue and song lyrics. Drug use is
implied but never shown on screen, and there is no drug buying, selling or
trafficking gameplay.
- Gambling: an in-game casino offers roulette, blackjack, baccarat, slots, video
poker and a wheel of fortune. These are played with in-game currency only; real
money can neither be spent nor won, and there are no microtransactions.
- Mild profanity in street dialogue.

The game contains no sexual content and no explicit nudity. A shower routine
undresses the character, but the body has no anatomical detail and the scene is
fully obscured by a steamed-glass blur throughout.
