About This Game

If the world forgot your hometown, how would you prove it ever existed?

The journey begins with your mother's apple pie and everyday village life. Remembering his wish to take his mother to see the fireworks in the capital, Ryan sets out with a red scarf. A coronation ceremony changes the course of his journey. When he returns, the home he knew has become a mystery to unravel.

W勇者之剑 is a single-player 2D fantasy RPG built around story, exploration, and working with your companions. From the warmth of village life to unfamiliar lakeside ruins, search for forgotten things, gather testimony and objects, and piece together the clues.

Begin with the little things

Deliver apple pie, find a lost sheep, and learn to fight against a training scarecrow in Windbell Village. You can also help repair the waterwheel. Visit the villagers' homes, hear about their everyday troubles, and set out on your journey with a red scarf.

Investigate "A Home Missing from the Map"

Travel to the capital, experience the coronation and a rescue, then return to the lakeshore to investigate strange events. Explore the maintenance antechamber beneath the shore, the water-diversion corridor, and the observation chamber. Follow clues left in accounts and objects, and operate mechanisms to open a path. Help your companions treat people affected by the anomalies, and learn healing and cooperation in battle.

Fixed-position turn-based combat

Choose your targets and manage HP, MP, and TP. Combine attacks, skills, defense, and healing to face your enemies. Battles use an angled view and fixed character positions. Melee attackers step forward to strike and then return to their positions; there is no grid-based movement. Companions join your party as the story unfolds.

Current content

The current version includes the Windbell Village prologue, the journey to the capital, the coronation and rescue, the return to the lakeshore, and Chapter 1, "A Home Missing from the Map." It is playable through the chapter transition at Shihua East Road. Chapter 2 and subsequent chapters are not yet complete.

The game currently provides a Simplified Chinese interface and text, local saving and loading, and adjustable battle effects, screen flashes, and screen shake.
