About This Game

Idle of Eternity is an idle loot game for the desktop. The window is fully transparent: only the battlefield and the interface float over the desktop, and everything outside them stays clickable as usual. The hero attacks, clears waves and climbs floors automatically. Sorting the bag, swapping gear and adjusting talents can happen at any moment, and the run carries on afterwards.

Monsters drop gear for fourteen equipment slots in normal, magic and rare quality. Every affix is rolled at random, and so are a weapon's damage types and how much of each it carries. A single weapon with both fire and cold damage can become the core of an entirely new build.

Auto-salvage rules filter out unwanted gear by item level, quality and more, so the bag only holds items worth keeping.

Five damage types: physical, fire, cold, lightning and chaos. Two lines of growth: attacks and spells. Over a hundred active, support and aura skills that level up through kills.

Three talent trees (hero talents, ascension and map strategy) hold more than 400 nodes, and resetting them is always free. Classes open at level 20: thirteen of them across five stages. Classes grant talents and passives, while the final shape of a build comes from how gear, skills and talents fit together.

There is no shop. All gear comes from monster drops. Essence from salvaged items, along with gold and protection stones, powers the craft bench: enhancing, rerolling affixes and crafting from recipes. Epic and mythic items never drop and can only be crafted at the bench, with a chance of success.

The Rift has 100 floors, each with more and tougher monsters and better loot. Clearing floor 100 unlocks the Endless Challenge, which has no top floor. Every hundred floors the monster population rotates, putting new demands on a build. The Training Ground offers dummies and a boss dummy for measuring real damage.
