About This Game

HEY! YOU, THE NEW KID! OVER HERE!

Welcome to Coolischool! I'm Cartonix: 100% cardboard, 0% teacher. I'll show you around.

Here's the deal. There are rules here… but the real goal is to become POPULAR. And popularity is measured in aura.

Schooligans is a chaotic party game for 1 to 8 players. You and your friends are the worst students at the school, with one school year to become legends. How? By pulling off the dumbest stunts you can think of and filming every second of it.

Because a stunt nobody saw is worth almost nothing. You need proof…

…YOUR PHONE! TAKE IT OUT. GO ON.

Perfect! It films videos. Aim it, hit record, and keep the evidence.

  • Someone has to hold the camera. Which means someone isn't the star. Take turns. Or fight about it.
  • Everything multiplies. Behind the teacher's back, right next to them, on a table, in the dark, with the whole gang in the shot…
  • Selfie mode. Nobody to film you? Film yourself. What a star!
  • Never-seen-before beats seen-it-already. Get creative!

At bedtime, you post your vlog: your best videos of the day. When you wake up, the dorm TV shows the whole school what each one earned. And sometimes, nobody knows why, a video goes viral and pays way more than it should!

LET'S TALK MISCHIEF!

Dancing on a table in the middle of class, on camera… turning off the lights… throwing paper balls… or getting chased by the teacher while your friend films it!

Everything runs on physics, so nothing ever goes to plan. And the best clips are always the ones that go wrong.

And the angrier the teacher gets, the more it pays… and the riskier it gets. Your call, champ!

EVERY CLASS HAS ITS OWN RULES

Your planner tells you which class is next and in which room. Need directions? Follow me!

  • Math: roll call, lesson, then a test. A cheat sheet can save your grade!
  • Music: graded at every mini-game. Karaoke, beatbox, musical chairs, an orchestra…
  • PE: activities. The coach wants discipline. The coach will not get discipline.
  • Library: silence meter. Good luck with that.

Get caught? First the corner. Twice. Then… the door.

THE TEACHERS CAN HEAR YOU. SHHH!

At roll call, raise your hand and say "present!" when the teacher calls your name. Yes, out loud: teachers use real voice recognition, and they listen to the proximity chat.

So whisper your plans. Talk your way out of trouble. Or throw your best friend under the bus to save your own skin. It works. And it's the funniest thing you'll do all night.

PSST… WANT A TIP FOR TONIGHT?

After class comes the evening. The lights go down, and later the watchman does his rounds and sends everyone to the dorm. That's when things get interesting.

  • At night the school is locked. The key is in a watchman's back pocket. Steal it… from behind!
  • Every classroom hides tomorrow's cheat sheet.
  • People also talk about zombies. Crouch and keep quiet and you'll get past.
  • Big loot gets sold at a mysterious shop. The password? Listen carefully to what I tell you on day one.

Me? I didn't say anything, huh.

THE GANG STICKS TOGETHER… MOSTLY

A term is three days of class. Then the class council checks the gang's aura quota. Miss it? You repeat the term. Miss it again? The whole gang gets expelled.

But money, rankings and titles are all yours. And on GossipApp, the school's social network, everybody knows who did what, where and when… and what they're saying about you.

  • Bet on which friend gets expelled first. Then help it happen.
  • Collect, trade, steal and resell Schoolicards, the most forbidden cards on the playground.
  • Spend your Schoolicoins on gadgets: a magic wand that turns people into rabbits, a sleep gun, a gun that makes the watchman dance, suction cups to climb the ceiling…

There's only one school legend. The real question is when you stop being a team.

WHAT'S IN YOUR BACKPACK

  • 1 to 8 players: online co-op, made to be played with friends on voice
  • A whole school year: three terms, rising quotas, the class council
  • Your phone: camera, selfies, nightly vlog, GossipApp, bets, planner, GPS
  • Aura economy: views and clout are your score, not kills
  • Teachers who listen: real voice recognition, real consequences
  • Full physics playground: move it, throw it, break it
  • Day and night: class by day; watchmen, locked doors and zombies by night
  • Betrayal mechanics: snitching is a strategy, not a bug
  • Collectible cards and gadgets: hunt them, trade them, steal them
  • Full controller support

OK, CHAMP! I'M ALWAYS HANGING AROUND THE FOUNTAIN.

Add Schooligans to your wishlist and bring the whole class. Ciao!
