About This Demo

One card wins the run: Hatch. Survive long enough to afford it.

Play as a Demon Lord still inside an egg in a roguelike tower defense card game. Grow your economy, unleash your spell and raise an army to hold back waves of adventurers. Gather enough resources to play the costly Hatch card, break out of your shell and win the run.

Make every single-use card count. Invest in resource generators to hatch sooner, turn your Demon Lord spell into the heart of your defense or overwhelm the attackers with a swarm of your own. Choose what to commit to your build and balance the power you need to survive with the resources you need to win.

Find your path through a randomized skill tree. Choose upgrades that work with your cards and relics, strengthen your favorite strategy or follow an unexpected branch. The choices change each run. Adapt your plans and find combinations that bring your build together.

Meet their army with yours. Send your units against swarms of adventurers while your Demon Lord spell helps hold the line. Face bosses that support their allies, weaken your forces and interfere with your cards. Build a defense that can handle more than sheer numbers.

See what the mysterious shops have to offer. Look for something that fills a gap in your build or gives you a reason to try a new approach. Decide which finds are worth investing in as you work toward Hatch.

Start fresh and build again. Your build and resources reset every run. Unlock more items to discover, try another character and put what you have learned to work. Take on 10 difficulty levels and find new ways to survive long enough to hatch.
