About This Demo

Every ship has a weak spot.

This is the opening act of Ship Busters, free: the tutorial, the shipyard and all seven battles of the Coral Shallows, ending in a boss fight.

Most games give a ship a health bar. Ship Busters gives her a hull, planks, masts, sails, guns and a powder magazine, each one destructible on its own. Arc your shot over the water, watch a plank splinter and fall, and keep going until she can't fight back. Where you hit matters more than how hard.

What's in the demo

• The tutorial: aiming, sailing and the Broadside, taught at sea.

• The Coral Shallows: seven voiced campaign battles, each teaching one idea, then a boss that asks for all of them at once.

• The shipyard: fit the Reefrunner gear you win and feel your ship change between fights.

• The Broadside: let every gun come ready and loose the whole flank in one volley.
