Until You're Empty is a fast-paced 2D action platformer where you're constantly pushed to the limit. Move fast, pace yourself, adapt on the fly, and don't let enemies punish your mistakes.

Fight in a vertical arena, moving between floors, dodging attacks, and cutting through hordes of enemies. Use your dash, the arena's verticality, and the space around you to stay in control of the fight.

Pick up firearms dropped by defeated enemies and switch tactics in the middle of combat. Keep an eye on your ammo, manage your stamina, and make the most of whatever you have at hand.

There are no skill trees or permanent upgrades: you return with the same abilities and learn to use them better. The rules are deliberately simple and easy to grasp: less downtime and preparation, more movement and fun.

Something Isn't Right

As he progresses, the protagonist encounters six bosses that are nothing like the regular enemies. It feels like there's something behind the way each of them appears... Why everything here looks the way it does is something he has yet to discover.

The further he goes, the more obvious it becomes: what's happening here isn't quite what it seems.
