About This Game

See what the virus flattened. If you can.

STEREOSIS is a single-player 3D platformer with one twist that changes everything: the only thing rendered on screen is a real-time autostereogram — a "Magic Eye" dot field. There is no conventional 3D view to fall back on. To see the platforms, the enemies, even yourself, you have to free-view the noise and let the depth pop out on its own.

An AI's virus has been absorbing the world through every screen it touches, flattening reality into a repeating pattern of dots. You are the only person left who can still free-view an autostereogram at will — a rare, almost forgotten condition. Dive into the abstract field the virus left behind, decipher its code one level at a time, and restore the depth it stole.

Once the image resolves, STEREOSIS plays like a classic 3D platformer: run, jump, and rotate the camera 90° at a time to reveal paths that don't exist from any other angle. Progress is linear and deliberately simple — this is a game about learning to see, not about menus and systems getting in the way.

Key Features

- The render IS the puzzle. No debug camera, no assist mode — every level is a real-time computed autostereogram you fuse with your own eyes.

- Fez-style 90° camera rotation. Later levels require you to physically reveal hidden platforms by turning the world.

- Classic 3D-platformer moveset. Free movement on the ground plane, double jump, variable jump height.

- 36 handcrafted levels plus boss fights — stomp the weak point, no guns, no combat systems to learn.

- Lives, the old-fashioned way. Collect fragments, earn extra lives, and see them rendered as literal 3D cubes inside the stereogram.

- Full gamepad support for couch play.

- 11 languages.

Before you buy: STEREOSIS requires the ability to free-view autostereograms (the classic "Magic Eye" skill — letting your eyes relax past the screen until the hidden 3D image emerges). This isn't a difficulty setting; it's how the entire game is rendered. If you've never been able to see a Magic Eye image, or have a vision condition that prevents stereopsis, this game will not be playable for you, and there's no alternate rendering mode. Everyone else: welcome to the deep end.
