About This Game

You sold your soul for money. The buyer was a horned host behind a counter, and he settles every debt on the toss of a coin. Now you're stuck in his purgatory, a place built from Slavic folklore, and the only way out is to beat the house at its own game.

Every round gives you a score to reach and a set number of flips to get there. Pick a side, place your bet, flip. Wins pay out currency you spend on Artifacts and Blessings, which shift the odds, multiply your payouts and stack with each other. Miss the target and the run is over.

Between runs you can walk the Main Room. Poke around, solve its puzzles, and work out where you are and who you're playing against. Every run, won or lost, opens up more of the room and more of the story.

  • Fifty-fifty, at first:The base odds are even. Stack Artifacts and Blessings until a 50/50 stops being a 50/50.

  • Build around the flip: 160+ Artifacts and Blessings, each one changing how a flip pays out or how often it lands your way.

  • More coins: Later you'll be flipping two coins at once, then three.

  • Something to keep: Unlocks carry over between runs, so a loss still gets you new Artifacts, new parts of the room and more of the story.

  • A bit of mercy: A run of tails won't always end you. Pity mechanics like a guaranteed winning flip give you a way back.

  • Slavic folk horror: The setting draws on Slavic folklore and its old stories about bargaining with the devil.

  • Roguelite players: Runs are short and the rules are simple. The depth is in how your Artifacts combine.

  • People who like a story with their runs: It's told through the room around you and the scenes you unlock, in the spirit of Inscryption and The Room.

  • Anyone: Heads or tails. You already know how to play.
