The poems you remember are your strength.

In Poetry Defense, verses can pierce armor, poets can enter battle, ancient books can grow, and familiar classics truly take part in combat. Amid swarms of insects, you will wield poetry as your blade and language as your formation, while taking on ever-shifting poetry magic squares, collecting ancient texts, unlocking poets’ stories, and rediscovering once-familiar words through battle and exploration as you light up a brilliant galaxy of poetry.

There is no need to memorize poems here. Instead, poetry itself becomes your power.

This game uses pre-generated AI-assisted visual content. Generative AI tools were used during development to help create and refine some 2D artwork and Steam store materials, including Chinese ink-style backgrounds, capsule images, UI/marketing artwork, icons, and related visual elements. All AI-assisted assets were reviewed and edited by the developer before being included. The game does not use live generative AI during gameplay, and no player input is sent to an AI service to generate content.
