A mage may pick up a sword the next second and become a spellblade; a back-row support priest suddenly stands up front as the sturdiest wall; a front-row brawler suddenly turns into a glass cannon — but one swing can shatter the world.

A Class Change also rewrites a character's dice, so when you're tempted by the payoff a class offers, ask whether the squad can still cast the skills it wants afterwards.

A Class Change is never just about one character. It's part of the build.

Diverse equipment, pushes the build and battle strategy further.

Each character carries two pieces by default, mostly granting skills or reshaping a character's abilities — and some pieces transform combat power and playstyle outright.

Once gear and character interlock, the answer is rarely addition but multiplication.

Medals tie equipment, class and position into a single line.

Every Class Change grants a randomly rolled enhancing Medal, alongside new skills and new dice.

Like equipment, a Medal might be numerical beauty you can't refuse, might rewrite your dice to make the squad run smoother, or might be a component with enormous room to imagine — one that only works with the right setup and planning. You need a grip on the whole run to put the Medal in the right place.
