About This Game

You play as Amaterasu, the Japanese sun goddess, who finds herself compelled to explore the realms of shadow to retrieve the former animal companions she once mistreated and cast into the Buddhist underworld.

Despite the goddess's immense power, battling every inhabitant of the underworld proves difficult; success requires stealth and careful judgment.

Once a companion is found, a chase ensues to extract them from the underworld where they were being tortured.

The game blends exploration styles reminiscent of *Tunic* and the *Dark Souls* series. It incorporates light rogue-lite elements, allowing players to discover hidden items within the levels to boost their strength.

Between descents into the underworld, players can unwind in a cavern hub and converse with their animals.

The game features seven levels and offers replayability that adapts as the player progresses.
