Why Early Access?

“Our goal with Early Access is to involve the community in the development of Needle Hunt from the very beginning. Finding a hidden needle in a chaotic environment is all about observation, patience, and attention to detail, and player feedback will help us understand what makes the experience challenging, rewarding, and fun. By seeing how players approach each hunt, we can improve the level design, difficulty, clues, item placement, and overall pacing based on real player experiences rather than assumptions.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Needle Hunt to remain in Early Access for around 6 months. During this time, we’ll focus on refining the core gameplay, adding new environments and challenges, improving difficulty balance, and responding to player feedback. Our goal is to make sure the game feels polished, satisfying, and replayable before its full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full release is planned to include additional environments, more challenging needle-hunting scenarios, new objects and visual details to search through, and additional gameplay variations. We also aim to improve search mechanics, visual clarity, accessibility, performance, and overall game feel. We may introduce new features and challenges based on what we learn from the community during Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access build already contains the core Needle Hunt experience, with playable search environments and hidden needles waiting to be discovered. The game is fully playable, but we will continue improving the level design, difficulty balance, visual readability, performance, and overall search experience throughout Early Access. Additional environments and challenges will also be added during development. Multiplayer lobbies are also fully functional, so you can play alone or search together with up to 4 players.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We have no plans to increase or alter the price once Early Access ends. The full release is intended to remain at the same price point.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to actively collect feedback through Steam Discussions, Discord, and in-game reporting systems. Players will be able to share suggestions, report bugs, discuss difficulty and level design, and help us identify which features and challenges would make Needle Hunt more enjoyable. Community feedback will play an important role in shaping the game's development and future content.”
