Idle Raiders: Second Run is back!

If you never played it: Idle Raiders is an idle RPG about a band of pixel art heroes. You do not control them directly. They fight, use skills and move on the maps on their own. Your job is everything around that: manage their equipment, what skills they use, which map they farm or which raid they attempt, and when it is time to reset and come back stronger.

If you've played it on the web before: Welcome back! This is that game bumped up to version 2.0! (Your old savegames can be imported too!)

Two game modes: Legacy or New Adventures

For 2.0 we took the original 1.7.4 from Pit Forest and ported it to a modern engine. Every map, monster, raid, item and ability comes from the original source. It's not a sequel or a remake, it's the original game improved, and you decide how much of it changes by choosing a game mode for your save:

• Legacy: the original 1.7.4 balance as you remember it. It still gets the new UI, QoL features, visuals and important bug fixes, just nothing that really changes how the game plays. (Including it's many quirks)

• New Adventures: the mode we keep building on. Rebalancing, new content and features land here and it may change and expand a lot over time. (Save games stay compatible between updates).
  We recommend this mode if you are new to the game.

You pick the mode when you start or import save and a Legacy game can continue in New Adventures anytime.

Improvements over the old game (both modes):

• Many UI improvements: new layouts, UI scaling, overhauled screens and tooltips, configurable combat texts, draggable and resizable windows, number formatting, selection outlines, turning off flashy animations and much more.

• Many QoL features like better buy screens, collapsible buff bars, a cast order for skills that don't come from a skillbook, per bag sorting and more.

• Better performance and 60 fps instead of 30. No more turning off combat texts or effects in the lategame, yay!

• Lots of bug fixes.

New Adventures adds new upgrades, balancing changes and combat and boss mechanics that finally work as intended on top. Check our ever growing changelog and join our Discord to discuss what's next!
