Two little coworkers, a quieter desktop

Desktop Gugu: Cozy Idle Pet Demo is a hands-on preview of a desktop idle companion game. Send Derpquack mining, recruit the leafy Leafbud Gugu to gather timber from a divine tree, then collect and sell their resources to grow your little camp.

What is included in this demo?

• Two companion species and two jobs: mining with Derpquack and logging with Leafbud Gugu. The divine tree remains in place and keeps producing timber.
  
• The complete introductory loop: place companions, produce and collect resources, sell them from Storage, recruit a new companion and build a logging workplace.
  
• Six main demo goals, plus optional goals for expanding mining, feeding companions, building a feeder and trying the duck workshop. You can keep playing after completing the main goals.
  
• Unlockable automatic collection and a feeder that uses food from your inventory.
  
• English and Simplified Chinese interfaces, three local save slots, desktop and volume settings, and selectable background music tracks.

How does this differ from the full game?

This demo is limited to the two species, mining and logging jobs, and introductory management and progression described above. The full game is also planned to launch with Derpquack and Leafbud Gugu as its two core species. This demo offers the introductory loop described above; additional species or jobs are not promised. Please refer to the main game store page for the full game's confirmed features.
