About This Software

»»————　♡　————««

Widget2000s is a personal project made for lovers of the 2000s aesthetic: skinnable media players, chrome, translucent plastics and visualizers that danced to the music.

The idea is simple: a small music widget that lives on your desktop and reacts to anything playing on your PC, whether Spotify, YouTube or a game. It shows the current track and lets you control it.

Create your own widget easily and intuitively, no coding required. Use your own images and videos, draw with light and place every button where you want it.

Made to stay out of your way

Ultra-low resource usage and features that adapt to any work or everyday situation, so it never gets in the way:

Share your widgets on Steam Workshop and discover what others have made in one click.

Widget2000s comes from a love for an era, and it grows with every widget the community creates.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

AI was used to assist with translating the interface and upscaling some images.

Every user creates their own widget with their own images and videos, and shares it with the community.
All of Widget2000s' default art is made by real artists.
Art is human, and it always should be!
