SkyStray is a single-player 2D action adventure about a young hacker and the dangerous worlds inside an AI-controlled tower. At home, you're a kid with a battered VR chair. Jack in, become the Stray, and take on cartridges filled with fast combat, moving machinery, puzzles and unexpected trouble.

A neon industrial gauntlet can give way to a lantern-lit forest. A boss duel can give way to a heist where the loudest thing in the room is a sleeping giant. Different places, different problems, and a familiar set of movement and combat skills to master.

Find the opening. Make it hurt.

Dash through danger, take the fight into the air and strike before the gap closes. Face bosses such as Saint Static and Loadstar: read their tells, escape their attacks and turn a narrow opening into your moment. Better timing and a cleaner route give you a reason to go again.

Every cartridge has its own kind of trouble.

Ride the Folding Mile's transforming walkways. Leap across the Hanging Sea's moving platforms. Work out the Reclaimer's machinery. In Pirate Radio, jump between receivers and land your cuts on the beat to steal the signal. Quick challenges mix movement, observation and nerve, with a new decision waiting when the pressure rises.

Steal the keys. Free your friends. Keep him asleep.

In the Sleeping Giant heist, three prisoners need rescuing from a forest kitchen. Cross suspended shelves, pick your landings and use the giant's snoring to cover the noise. Loose cookware can betray you. A quiet pause can let him settle. Wake him completely, and the rescue becomes a much more dangerous escape.

Come back to a market suspended above the city. Browse Salvage, improve your rig at Rig Service, visit Sidekick for companions and training, and hunt for something unusual at Odd Habitat. Spend earned Credits on the equipment and possessions that make the next return feel like yours.

Build a home worth coming back to.

Turn your apartment into a personal collection of strange and lovely things. Arrange furniture, fill cabinets with individual curios, display earned keepsakes and find room for glowing mushrooms, miniature habitats and a very sleepy whale sofa. Your home character and companion bring the quieter moments between adventures to life.

More worlds above.

The tower is growing beyond short challenges into larger connected adventures, with branching routes, secrets, traps and minibosses. A serpent-temple world is currently being built around water mechanisms, lifts and hidden paths.

SkyStray is in active development. The images and clips show playable development builds. The full tower campaign, connected exploration worlds and wider progression are still being built and refined.
