“I need play testers to help identify bugs and balancing issues. This game has gone through a lot of in house development and testing, but I want feedback to make it the smoothest, and most fun experience at launch for players.”

“Much more variety in design of all types. From how the Teraforge 2D engine creates the assets it places around the world, to the variety of what players will see on the planet themselves. Only a small handful of bosses have been implemented, so there's plenty of variation in end-game content planned.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Fully playable solo or online with all the intended mechanics.”

“Yes, the game will be a little bit more on release, but the plans are to keep the price rather low before and after EA release.”

About This Game

TeraHeist is a top-down sci-fi action game about exploring alien planets, stealing valuables, and getting your haul home. Head out alone or with friends, take on contracts, and turn the proceeds into better equipment for your next expedition.

TeraHeist uses custom procedural technology built specifically for the game. Its generation systems create terrain, buildings, plant life, creatures, and weapons, with procedural work extending into attack effects and sound. That variety reaches into the details: the shape of a weapon, the appearance of an unfamiliar creature, and the ground beneath your feet. Discovering what a planet looks like, and what lives there, is part of each expedition.

Your HUB is where you prepare, sell what you’ve brought back, and decide where to go next. Pick a destination, head planetside, and start searching. Explore the wilderness, raid buildings, and fight your way through whatever stands between you and something worth carrying. You can return to a planet for another run or take your chances somewhere new.

There’s always a reason to stay a little longer. There’s also a cost to getting in over your head. Recovery eats into your earnings, and a promising expedition can get expensive fast. Keep an eye on your crew, know where you’re heading, and decide when you’ve got enough to make the trip worthwhile.

The things you encounter can become part of your loadout. Capture creatures to deploy as companions, or siphon their abilities into gems that can be installed in your weapons. An enemy’s attack might be the thing you bring to your next fight. Upgrade your equipment, experiment with ability combinations, and build around the weapons and creatures you like using.

Combat mixes gunplay with timed melee combos, charged attacks, blocking, and dodging. Weapon upgrades and slotted abilities give you more ways to handle a fight, including linking powers to well-timed combo strikes. Playing together gives you someone to help when things go wrong—and plenty of opportunities to get into trouble together.

Back at the HUB, sell the haul, improve your gear, and get your crew ready. The next destination is yours to choose.
