If you are old you probably remember Shovelware on old PC's, or demo disks filled with all kinds of passion projects from indie developers that somehow got copied and passed around to your family at some point.

SPLEEN is my love letter to that era.

It started out as a typing game inspired by the 90's demoscene, but then I realized I had more fever dreams to untangle from my broken Xennial mind that I would like to share with the world, so SPLEEN became TYPE! TYPE! the typing game, and soon thereafter came DESTROY! DESTROY! which shouldn't work as well as it does, but it does.

I'm looking forward to shoveling more into this collection, so thank you everyone who took a chance on this continually growing game collection. I will be adding more every month. <3

I HATE typing games. I can't express enough how much I hate typing games.

BUT, I want to get better at typing.
That is why I built TYPE! TYPE!.

There is no game over screen for TYPE! TYPE!.

Instead there is a COOLDOWN mode that allows you an opportunity to refocus and carry on.

There's even a recovery feature so you don't lose your word streaks!

Your success (or failure) each phrase determines the difficulty as you play!
- 10 biomes with different phrase themes
- 125 difficulty levels per biome
- 28 rows per difficulty level
which means over 68,000 different phrases, challenges included!!!

Find out the mysteries of how to unlock Biomes and additional Challenges, or keep grinding and you'll get their naturally! Ten biomes and eight dynamic challenges keep the game feeling fresh as you face the challenges of TYPE! TYPE!

SPLEEN comes bundled with dozens of authentic demoscene songs written in the 90's and a dynamic VU meter, but also has an extensive playlist system that accepts a wide range of audio formats including wav, ogg, mp3, tracker files, and even retro MIDI emulation!
