About This Software

Your PC, with a history

SystemChart captures supported Windows hardware and process readings so you can revisit what your PC was doing during a game or workload. Read activity on a shared timeline, inspect an exact interval, and compare the context around a change.

Follow the readings across charts, see which applications were active, and keep the evidence for later. Your captured history stays on your PC.

Free and Pro at a glance

SystemChart is one application. Free is the base app; SystemChart Pro is an optional DLC that enables additional tools in the same installation. No separate Pro installer is needed.

SystemChart Pro is planned for the Steam release and is not currently available on Steam.

  • Capture and charts: Free and Pro use the same supported sensors, frame capture and full-resolution readings. Both include built-in pages, automatic markup, Findings, trends, capture controls and ordinary evidence exports.
  • History: Free has a 60-day history window. Pro removes the edition time limit; both remain subject to your chosen storage budget. Losing Pro does not itself delete existing readings.
  • Analysis: Pro adds custom workspace editing, manual studies and drawings, Compare, game and application benchmarks, read-only SQL authoring and execution, and watch-rule authoring. Existing saved work remains readable without Pro.
  • Presentation: Free includes the basic frame counter, its size and corner controls, all application and tray icon finishes, and the base theme. Pro adds the desktop widget, additional themes, and ranked frame-counter and session presentation.
  • Assistant: Optional assistant and MCP integration are Pro features, using a compatible model you supply. No model or hosted inference service is included. Steam availability of this integration remains subject to content review.

Included in the Free base app

  • Follow supported CPU, graphics, memory, drive and network readings over time.
  • Start with eleven built-in pages covering hardware, live processes, capture and signals, then explore application activity and recorded game sessions.
  • Use shared chart inspection, exact time intervals, automatic markup, Findings, trends and machine-change context.
  • Keep frame rate in view with an adjustable counter, and choose your application and tray icon finishes.
  • Save an investigation, preview selected captured readings and export evidence as CSV, JSON or an image of the chart view.
  • Control capture and local storage, and send a diagnostic report only with your consent.

Hardware and capture limits

SystemChart observes and explains captured activity. It does not overclock your hardware or promise to improve your frame rate.

Sensor availability varies by hardware and driver. Supported NVIDIA cards can expose additional temperature, clock, fan and board-power readings. AMD and Intel graphics currently use Windows load and dedicated-memory counters. Optional CPU temperature capture is available on supported hardware.

Wall power, energy and electricity cost are estimates. A supported GPU's reported board power is a separate measurement.

Frame capture uses PresentMon and Windows tracing permissions. Game and anti-cheat compatibility vary. The desktop frame counter supports windowed and borderless presentation; exclusive-fullscreen coverage is not promised.

History only contains activity captured while SystemChart was running. Missing capture cannot be reconstructed. Exported evidence retains its stated bucket resolution; it is not necessarily every raw tick from a long interval.

This release targets Windows x64. macOS, Linux, SteamOS and native ARM64 are not supported.

Local by default

Captured history is stored on your PC. Capture does not require a SystemChart account. Diagnostic uploads require your consent. If you configure an external model or an MCP client, selected context can be sent to that service or client when it is used.

Pro analysis details

Pro compares captured game sessions or application runs using their exact intervals, source context and capture coverage. Follow CPU, memory, I/O or frame summaries across completed runs. Repeated runs show observed variation. Different tasks, durations and settings can explain a difference, and resource use alone does not establish throughput.

The Pro SQL Workbench loads a bounded selection of captured history into an isolated in-memory worker. Run read-only SQLite queries, inspect a table or chart, and export CSV. Queries cannot write to the capture database. Saved SQL stays local and never runs automatically. This is not Spark or an unlimited raw-archive query.

The Pro desktop widget has graph and readings modes, selected metrics, and size, color and placement controls. Its underlying sensor readings remain available in the Free app's ordinary charts and System Information.

Existing captured readings and previously authored work remain readable if Pro access is lost. Pro-only authoring becomes unavailable until access returns. Normal retention and user-selected storage limits still apply.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Generative AI assisted with SystemChart's branding and store descriptions. The optional assistant uses a user-configured model to select diagnostic tools. In the Steam app, SystemChart writes the displayed summaries from validated tool results; free-form model text is not displayed. External AI clients connected through the optional tool server control their own responses. Core capture and charts do not require AI. No model or hosted inference service is included.

System Requirements

    Minimum:
    • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
    • OS: Windows 11 (64-bit)
    • Processor: Intel or AMD x64 processor
    • Memory: 8 GB RAM
    • Graphics: Windows-compatible graphics and current drivers; available telemetry varies by GPU
    • Storage: 1 GB available space
    • Additional Notes: Additional space is needed for captured history. Microsoft Edge WebView2 is required for the interface; its bootstrapper is included. Frame capture requires Windows tracing permissions.
    Recommended:
    • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
