Dead Drop is an action roguelike that sees you taking on the role of a street-level operator making illicit deliveries across procedurally generated cityscapes. Starting with small-time drops in the suburbs, manage your Heat level and fuse contraband into new weapons to survive as the drops and environments get more intense.

While no two runs are ever the same, every run is a race against debt, danger and an ever-escalating police response. Can you build your empire and get out before the city locks you down?

You’ll begin each run with a single goal: clear your debt. Fight off rival gangs, complete deliveries and deposit your earnings at Dead Drop nodes across the map, earning you Contraband as a reward.

Contraband is what defines your build in every run, offering passive and active skills that will shape how you play. Fuse different Contraband items together to create even more powerful builds and truly become unstoppable.

CONTRABAND, STRAINS & FUSIONS: BUILD IT, BREAK IT

Your power in each run of Dead Drop comes from the Contraband you collect. These are illicit items that stack, synergise and combine to create increasingly unhinged and powerful builds.

Alongside Contraband, you’ll collect Strains which can be fused into a hybrid with a brand new effect on your build. Stack up to four strains per run to completely reshape your playstyle mid-run.

Even your weapons can be fused. Start with one and you might just end your run wielding up to four fused weapons that synergise with your Contraband and Strain setup in ways that can unleash the best kind of chaos.
