Dragonhaul is a retro roguelite autobattler about exploring, experimenting and turning your inventory into a broken build.

Every step moves time forward. Find powerful equipment, prepare for the boss and make every step count.

Explore a Hand-Pixelled World

Make your own way across a vibrant overworld filled with battles, treasure, merchants, forges, campfires and other useful discoveries.

Each day is 50 steps so spend your time wisely because the boss will arrive in 10 days.

Build Powerful Item Synergies

Start with 6 inventory slots and eventually expand to 12 slots. Where you place items matters a lot. Experiment with item order and discover synergies based on where you place items and item types with hundreds of viable item combinations and over 10 status effects, 7 item types, 3 item origins, 3 item categories and 7 item rarities,including combinations like burn, poison, bleed, charge, chill, block, lifesteal and much more.

Prepare Your Hero To Fight

Move through the world and make decisions that impact victory, all battles happen automatically but victory is decided by your choices for equipment, which paths to take, which overworld events to seek out and take advantage of with a little luck thrown in. Adapt your strategy for the upcoming boss. Every run gives new opportunities to experiment and you can unlock new heroes and maps with new perks and items.
