Midnight Rogues is a roguelike auto-battler where you buy and arrange cards across a timed tableau and build the sequence that fights for you.

Once combat begins, a countdown moves through your tableau and activates everything in its path. Place the right card in the right slot, order your effects carefully, and build a combo that vanquishes enemies.

• A short and satisfying loop of finding new items, arranging your tableau, and fighting enemies in an auto-battler format.

• Experiment with 60+ unique cards to discover new builds, interactions, and combinations.

• Collect 20+ unique relics and use their effects to shape your strategy throughout each run.

• Fight through 4 acts and face 10 unique bosses, each with its own way to torment you.

• Take on 3 difficulty modifiers and push your builds further as the challenge keeps increasing.

Buy powerful weapons and strange items, rearrange them on your tableau, and experiment with their order to maximize their effects.

Where you place a card determines how it interacts with everything around it, what activates first, and how the rest of your build unfolds.

The exact same collection of cards can produce completely different results depending on how you arrange it.

Grow stronger throughout each run. Spend your earnings at the shop to buy better cards, and defeat bosses to gain relics that can give you tremendous power.

The strongest cards aren’t always the ones with the biggest numbers. Choose cards that work together, then arrange them so every activation counts. Slow the countdown to squeeze more value from an attack, stack poison before multiplying it, or reverse the timer to trigger your earlier cards again.

The City belongs to its superheroes, and organized crime is how they keep it that way.

Three young couriers are sent to deliver a package to a research lab. Little did they know that they were carrying a bomb!

They survive the explosion with newfound powers, only to be framed for the disaster by the heroes who sent them. With the mysterious Master Wizard’s help, the Midnight Rogues set out to take revenge on the people who used them.

But every hero they bring down leaves The City a little closer to collapse.
