A slipstream magical realist visual novella about an outsider, a borrowed camera, and a city that no longer matches its own photographs—told through literary prose and ever-shifting, textured cinematic presentation.

Rezensionen

“I envy the approach taken in this game. Its grammar is of film… The shaders playing with opacity remind me of how silent films intersperse characters and background to create a visual that is more than the sum of its parts. And the way the game “documents” the corridors, the passages, the open spaces, the closed spaces, and the architecture the two protagonists traverse reminds me of the visual novel “documentary” I’d like to make: just two characters walking to the humming of the city.”
Kastel (Mimidoshima, Prof. Lily)

“A tour de force of a visual novel... every part of this game is drenched in the language of live film, of photography... and then, there's the setting — which I'd argue is a character in of itself. a walled, sprawling, urban mass filled with rotting husks of past infrastructures...[it] feels like a response to Roadside Picnic.”
Mado (malViolence, badxfaith)

“I was so stunned... this is absolutely incredible. Can't believe how far you're pushing Ren'Py with this, the cinematography is gorgeous... will be waiting with bated breath.”
Adrienne Bazir (In Stars and Time, Truth Scrapper)

A synthesis of cinematographic techniques and detailed illustrations, composited and parallaxed against film and early digital photography; the story takes readers through the recorded memory of a city drifting between remembrance and oblivion, through themes of estrangement and belonging, bureaucratic satire, social decay, and the end of every promised future.
