Facelet is a roguelike deckbuilder played on a scrambled puzzle cube. Twist layers to line up colors, cash them in, and build a deck that scores a cube nobody would ever finish. Spend your winnings on Algorithms, Mods, stickers and Tools, then take the bigger cube into the next Depth.

About This Game

Facelet is a roguelike deckbuilder played on a scrambled puzzle cube, all about lining up colors and getting paid for them.

Twist the cube, hand it in, and score every pattern that lines up on the face. Stack Algorithms that read the cube in different ways, take Parities that trade a handicap for a bonus, and bank enough to clear the next Depth. You do not have to solve the cube. You have to make it pay.

THE CUBE IS THE HAND

You get four hands and five twists per Solve. Every twist moves several faces at once, so every pattern and every card in play changes with it. The game pays for pairs, lines, diagonals, Ls, blocks, crosses, a clean face if you can get one, and much more.

  • 100+ Algorithms, each scoring the cube in its own way

  • 30+ Parities that pay you for a handicap

  • 20+ Mods granting permanent upgrades for the current run

  • 20+ Specials, stickers you place on a single facelet

  • 20+ Tools, single use, for the hand that isn't working

  • Cases you open for a card you did not plan for

  • 9 bosses, each with a rule that changes the cube itself

YOU DON'T HAVE TO SOLVE IT

If you can solve a cube, Facelet pays extremely well for it. If you can't, a face that is half one color still scores, and most of the deck is built for reading the cube rather than solving it. Six Depths, three Solves each, and the target climbs the whole way.

BOSSES THAT BREAK THE CUBE

Every third Solve is a boss, and they do not just raise the number.

  • One grows your cube into a 4x4 for a single Solve.

  • One strips it down to a 2x2.

  • One turns the lights off until you turn each layer.

  • One gives you a single hand and takes the rest.

  • Many others you will find while playing.

A sheet that fills in with new cards and rules run after run.

Run stats and a full card collection to study between runs.
