About This Game

Grab your friends, grab a camcorder, and break into the places everyone else had the sense to leave alone.

L.O.S.T. is an online co-op horror game for 1 to 5 players. You scavenge condemned buildings for anything worth selling, film whatever is still living inside, and bring the tape home to upload. Scrap pays the rent. Footage makes you famous. Getting everyone back alive is optional, and that's the problem.

A condemned hospital, a shuttered school, a prison that never let anyone go. Once the whole crew is through the entrance it seals behind you, and it stays shut until the truck comes back. Split up to cover more ground, or stick together and live longer.

Every item is fully physical. Drop a crate, shatter something fragile or crank a boombox, and everything in the building knows where you are. The things in here hunt by sight, sound and touch: they hear your voice, they spot your torch, and they feel your footsteps.

  • Every attack has a tell. Duck the Watcher's beam, jump the Warden's shockwave, sidestep the Husk's charge.

  • No two are quite alike. Each site dresses its monsters differently, and each one is a little different from the last.

  • Some nights, something older answers. Make it an offering, and hope it likes what you brought.

Your camcorder runs on a battery that won't last the night. Point it at the monsters, the cursed relics, and the tragic (or hilarious) deaths of your friends, because the best moments on the tape are what the audience pays for. Clip on a body cam and the crew back at the computer can watch and listen to you live.

Make it home and premiere the tape together. The live chat reacts to whatever is on screen: it screams when something moves at the end of the hall and tells you to RUN a beat too late. Views turn into followers, followers turn into cash, and the channel grows one upload at a time.

The dark wears you down. Lights flicker, things appear that shouldn't be there, and your crew's sanity slips the longer you stay. Pills help and company helps more. If the whole crew breaks at once, something comes for all of you.

Between jobs you live in a rented house in 2006, with a computer in the living room that runs the whole operation.

  • Contracts: pick your next job. Get a sighting on tape, pull in enough viewers, haul enough salvage. Each one pays money and earns reputation.

  • Store: medkits, sanity pills, flares, crowbars, walkie-talkies, body cams and better cameras, delivered by courier.

  • Vitals and Cams: keep an eye on everyone's health and sanity, and watch the body cams live.

  • Social: follow your channel's followers, views and best uploads.

You aren't the first crew to call yourselves L.O.S.T. Twelve lost files are scattered across the sites. Recover them all to find out what happened to Ash, Damien and Lia, and what the Order of Sundered Time wants. If your crew dies, the archive is lost with them.

  • Online co-op for 1 to 5 players through Steam lobbies: friends only or public

  • Proximity voice chat, plus walkie-talkies for when the crew splits up

  • Fully physics-driven loot, and dozens of salvage items to haul out

  • Six monster species, plus something older

  • Live-chat premieres and a channel that grows with every upload

  • A story told through twelve recoverable lost files

  • Full controller support

  • Steam achievements

LOCATE. OBSERVE. SEIZE. TRANSMIT.
