Forty-Eight Days Behind the Fence

For five weeks each year, Han Do-jin disappears into the Chunmyeong valley to secure the nation's college entrance exam. He counts every sheet, seals every box, and helps keep the test honest by keeping forty-one professionals locked inside a remote training resort.

This year, the Institute orders the writers to create an exam no machine can pass. Then an unwritten question appears in a cram school's mock paper. The scheduled thirty-five-day lockdown becomes forty-eight days of audits, interviews, fatigue, and mounting institutional pressure.
