About This Game

ONE LAST MACHINE

Earth, 2087.

Humanity is running out of accessible raw materials.

In a desperate attempt to find new resources, the world's remaining scientific teams created Project New Horizon — an experiment designed to open a gateway beyond Earth.

It worked.

Then the gateway refused to close.

The experiment collapsed, the research program was abandoned, and the gateway became an unstable Rift. During the day it lies dormant. Every night, it opens again — and creatures cross into our world.

You were the lead scientist behind the project.

You stayed behind.

Now, from a small workshop near one of the surviving settlements, you have one final objective:

Build the machine. Close the Rift.

Explore deep underground and recover the materials humanity desperately needs. Dig through different geological layers, discover hidden caves, caches and valuable resource deposits, and bring everything you find back to your workshop.

Raw material alone won't save anyone.

Process resources through an expanding production chain. Smelt metals in the furnace, cast components, roll plates and conductors, manufacture advanced parts at the workbench, and gradually construct the Rift Closure Machine.

Every major module physically appears as the machine takes shape.

25%. 50%. 75%. 100%.

But the underground isn't the only threat.

When darkness falls, creatures emerge from the Rift and attack the surface. Fight them yourself, improve your equipment, build defensive turrets and keep enough power running to survive the night.

The people nearby are trying to survive too. Complete manufacturing orders, help the settlement, improve your equipment and prepare for increasingly dangerous expeditions underground.

Your workshop will grow.

Your mine will go deeper.

And piece by piece, the last machine will rise.
