About This Game

The Decree is a 3-player cooperative horror game about hunting souls, surviving a relentless clock, and making choices where you never know what comes next.

The city is full of wandering souls. Everyone has a value. Everyone moves according to their own pattern. Your job is simple: FULFILL THE DECREE. But hunting souls is only part of the job. Sometimes, The Button appears. And when it does, you're going to have to choose.

HUNT THE SOULS

Humans constantly move through the world, following patterns that can be learned and exploited. Watch. Track. Predict. Then make your move.

There are four levels of souls, from common souls worth little to extremely valuable Legendary souls. But the greater the value... the harder they are to capture.

CAPTURE UNDER PRESSURE

Capturing a soul isn't just pressing a button. Every soul presents a different typing challenge.

• COMMON: WASD sequence.

• UNCOMMON: Two-word phrase.

• RARE: Three-word phrase.

• LEGENDARY: A five-word sentence.

You have seconds to get it right. Make a mistake and the soul escapes. No health bar. No damage. Just your time.

SOMETHING ELSE IS HUNTING

Soul Drainers periodically emerge throughout the Order. Ignore them and they cost you. Fight them and keep moving.

Your Sisters already know how to fight. The question is whether you can decide: when to fight and when to hunt.

THEN THE BUTTON APPEARS

Not every problem can be solved by hunting. Sometimes, the Order puts something else in front of you.

The Button.

You'll be given a situation. Then two choices: PROCEED or STAY. That's it. You don't know what either choice will lead to. There is no correct answer. There is no way to see the outcome beforehand.

Choose. Then find out what the fuck you just agreed to. You might gain souls. You might lose them. You might get incredibly lucky. You might get completely fucked.

And when it's over, the next encounter is something entirely different. No pattern to learn. No moral lesson. No warning. Just the next button.

90 SECONDS

Every Order gives you 90 seconds. Collect enough souls before the clock reaches zero. Deal with whatever gets in your way. And if The Button appears... make your choice.

Fail an Order, and you get another chance. Fail three in a row... the run is over.

SIX ORDERS. THEN IT GETS WORSE.

The first six Orders steadily increase the pressure. Complete all six and the game doesn't end. It gets harder. Then harder again. And it keeps going.

There is no final round. No forced return to the lobby. No artificial stopping point. How far can you go? When you're ready, extract. Or keep going until the Decree finally breaks you.

PLAY YOUR WAY

The Decree doesn't assign you a class. One Sister might track valuable souls. Another might handle the Drainers. Another might take on the hardest captures. Then switch.

Communicate. Adapt. Survive. And when The Button appears, everyone gets a say.
