About This Content

In House of Hex, you play as Spartacus, a high-ranking member of the Illuminati. You hold the power of program memory mutation over the world, which allows you to create, abolish, and modify the rules that govern it.

When the game starts, a pseudorandom world is generated (supports manual seed input, though). You get a functional society that already has skills, holds beliefs, and has some actions that it likes to perform and some that it doesn't. From then on out, you can affect it in any way you like. You could help one group of people ahead instead of another. You could cause a disaster. You could start a religion. You could mutate individual inhabitants to affect their state. You could assign Jeff from IT a girlfriend (or three). It's up to you.

(The completion of the Hardware Sniffers DLC is required prior to this DLC being usable within the game.)
