About This Game

"Load and Go"

"Load and Go" is a 16-bit style top-down tank shooter game. Players drive historically accurate tanks into the bright, absurd "Sunrust Wasteland"—a place that feels more like a vintage travel poster than a battlefield—to search for weapons, ammunition, and rare parts, engage enemy tanks, and decide whether to push deeper or withdraw while they still can.

Each session is designed to last 15–30 minutes and is built around a single-player experience.

How does a round work?

  • Choose your ride: Pick your vehicle and equipment pack from a selection of historically authentic tank models.

  • Enter the combat zone: Explore service stations, factories, warehouses, and tank wrecks.

  • Scavenge supplies: Find ammunition, repair materials, blueprints, and rare components.

  • Build and fight: Make use of turret orientation, armor angles, special ammunition, and in-match upgrades to defeat enemies.

  • Assess the risk: Fuel, ammo, and armor deplete over time; the more you load onto your tank, the higher the extraction payout—but also the greater the danger.

  • Start extraction: Raise a striped signal balloon and fire up the noisy diesel air pump, then hold your ground for the final几十秒 as enemies close in.

  • Load and go: Drive your tank through the exit and bring your loot back to the garage—or skip extraction and keep pushing toward high-value zones and boss encounters.

The core of loot, fight, and extract

Loot isn't just a number in your backpack—it's strapped right onto the outside of your tank. Fuel cans, engines, ammo crates, and even absurdly oversized rare parts will gradually make your tank look like an overloaded station wagon.

The more you carry, the heavier and slower your tank becomes—and the more you dread losing it. Failing to extract means losing any uninsured loot from that run, but the game won't leave you completely stuck after repeated failures.

The real question isn't "Can I still fight?"—it's "Is this load worth one more gamble?"

"Sunrust Wasteland" visual direction: Travel-poster aesthetics, pastel-toned post-apocalypse, and chunky mechanical comedy.

What makes it different?

  • Sunrust Wasteland: Mint green, butter yellow, lake blue, and coral red define this bright, fresh take on the wasteland—no dark, grey, or brown gloom.

  • Mechanical comedy: Tanks recoil when firing, repair vehicles swing oversized wrenches, and enemy scout tanks panic-reverse when they spot you.

  • Real tank selection: M3A1 Stuart, M4A2E8 Sherman, T-34/85, Churchill, StuG III, and other authentic models each have their own speed, armor, and firepower personality.

  • Visible greed: Loot piles up visibly on your tank—being fully loaded is both an achievement and a danger.

  • Boss fights are optional: You can extract at any time, or bet your entire haul on going further.

Tanks are not just skins

Each tank is based on a real historical model: light tanks are fast and ideal for scouting, but can't carry much; mediums are balanced and reliable; heavies excel at holding extraction points; turretless tank destroyers pack a punch but require turning the entire hull to aim.

The game won't arbitrarily mount heavy turrets on light chassis. Permanent equipment follows real variants, while the more exaggerated roguelike effects come from special ammunition, temporary buffs, and scrappy wasteland bolt-on gadgets.
